Melody Cooper, Principall, Gray Design Group
Lynn Goessling, Partner, Armstrong Teasdale

See below for the questions and responses.
BOBROFF: With continued pressure on the office and industrial sectors, how are adaptive reuse projects and creative redevelopment strategies driving tenant interest? And what opportunities are emerging for owners to reposition assets effectively?
BASSETT: It’s no secret the office market has struggled since COVID due to the rise of remote work. But we’re starting to see a shift, with more companies encouraging employees back to the office. That’s creating new challenges, but also opportunities. At Intelica, it’s pushed us to think more creatively about amenities that make office space more desirable. We’re seeing features like pickleball courts, wine cellars and other experiential elements being added to Class B buildings, amenities that were previously reserved for Class A properties.
