The Challenge

Arts In Motion had outgrown its existing space but wanted to remain in the Brentwood community, a location that attracted
families and students alike. Their goal was to add more dance studios while keeping operations rooted in the same submarket.

The project came with unique challenges. Transforming the existing school into a modern dance facility required major updates, including demising the space and removing the mezzanine. In addition, the school next door posed coordination issues that could have delayed progress. With fall 2025 classes approaching, the client needed a partner who could manage the complexity and ensure the space opened on time.
