The St. Louis Pilates Lab opened in a 1,815-square-foot single commercial space at 100 Above the Park last month. The 36-story residential tower is on the corner of North Kingshighway and West Pine boulevards in the Central West End with Pilates Lab entrance on the ground floor.
Tyler Hyde, Associate Broker at Intelica CRE, represented Susan Bange and Kristen Davis, the owners of The St. Louis Pilates Lab during the process. “Susan and Kristen were absolutely wonderful to work with. Both brought a lot of energy to the process and they have a real passion for their business which made finding them the correct space even more rewarding,” says Hyde. He also worked closely with the Landlord MAC Properties and their brokers Bill Barnes and Michelle Miller of NAI Desco in the transaction.
“Once we narrowed the list of potential locations down, 100 Above the Park quickly became the best choice,” Hyde states. When the pandemic hit, the space was secured and they were able to provide online classes while the buildout occurred.
“The building looks amazing and The St. Louis Pilates Lab has exceeded my expectations on what the final design would look like,” Hyde says. The studio is outfitted with Gratz Pilates apparatus, based on original designs from Joseph Pilates, credited with inventing the exercise method. Single lessons range in price from $45 to $85, while bundles reduce the cost per class.
