The St. Louis office market has started to make a steady recovery as the effects of the Omicron variant have begun to subside. Companies have started to adopt hybrid back-to-work plans causing a push for more office space. The 12-month net absorption rates increased and there is a positive sign that 2022 will see life of pre-pandemic economic recovery. Vacancy rates dipped slightly to 8.6% in the first quarter.
