Beginning in 2022, Gary Parker of Intelica Commercial Real Estate will begin his three-year term as a member of the St. Louis Commercial Board of Directors.
“I have enjoyed being involved in this community and I look forward to working with everyone on the board. My passion to be on the board coincides with my passion to lead the next generation of brokers on their paths to success,” says Parker.
As a board member of the St. Louis Commercial Board of Realtors, Parker will play a role in shaping policy, increasing engagement and creating benefits for commercial real estate practitioners in our community. All board members support St. Louis Realtor Commercial Division activities and programs throughout the year.
Parker is Co-Founder and Principal of Intelica CRE, where he is a leader in commercial real estate ownership. Founded in 2010, Intelica employs 55 people at its headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. Intelica continues to grow and has expanded with offices and service centers in Denver and Charlotte.
Of his over 35 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Parker has focused the last 11 years of his career on building Intelica CRE from a small start-up to a company with more than $82 million in transactions and over 3.6 million square feet under management.
For his contributions to the business community, Parker has been in the Midwest Real Estate News Hall of Fame in 2013 and won the SIOR/SLAR – Largest Office Transaction Award in 2017. In addition, he has been named a CoStar Power Broker over five times and has been named St. Louis Business Journal Heavy Hitter in Commercial Real Estate multiple times.
Parker and his wife, Sue, have three daughters and two grandchildren. He is a member of the St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church as well as Sunset Hills Country Club.
In 1991, ten REALTORS® whose main focus was on commercial properties came together to create a venue where commercial real estate was the main focus. Those ten REALTORS® formed the Commercial Division of the St. Louis REALTORS®. By remaining within the St. Louis REALTORS® organization, they gained the best of all worlds; maintaining their connection to the National Association of REALTORS®, the capability of providing services focused on Commercial education, providing Division approved commercial contracts and forms, informing Commercial REALTORS® of licensing requirements, training Commercial real estate arbitrators and mediators, and providing excellent networking opportunities.
The Commercial Division strives for excellence in the services provided to its members and continues to develop new services that will aid in the business of the Commercial REALTOR®. Today, the Division exceeds 600 Commercial REALTOR® members who provide their clients with the information needed to make the best choices about their purchases, investments, and management opportunities.
